Exploratory Workshops

Reinterpreting Compostitions

As my first workshop, I have joined the Reinterpreting Compostitions. The aim of this workshop is to get a better knowledge about camera angles & shots, a broad explanation of cinematography and to define ourselves in terms of storyboarding.

As our first excercise, our tutor has showed some examples of camera shots, and taught us about the general history of cinematography. Then, as pairs, we have found some storyboarding examples and talked about the shot techniques used in them. I have found examples from the animated series “Arcane”.

What I really liked about these storyboards is that how they managed to express the details and the emotions through each shot. Another fact is that you can also understand what is going on in the scene.

Storyboarding Activity

As our next excercise, we have got into 4 pairs. Our tutor has created a long text sequence for us to create a storyboard of. The story was about the classic “Little Red Riding Hood”. Each person has chosen the parts that they want to draw, and we have then expanded our storyboard with creating additional drawings. Overall, It was a very fun activity to join.

Value Drawings

As our homework, we’ve been asked to create some value drawings which will benefit us regarding our project.

Landscape Practices

To start with, I have first practiced drawing landscapes by looking at references.

After I was done with the practices, I have created the landscape environment of my own treehouse design.

Interim Assignment – Video Essay

As an addition to our essays, we’ve been assigned with an interim assignment. This assignment can either be in a visual or a video format. As a result, I have decided on creating a video essay for my interim assignment as I believe I can express my feelings and thinking better in a video format.

Interim Assignment Concept: The birth of video games and how did it all start?

As my Interim Assignment Concept, I have chosen the topic of the beginning of the video game industry and how did it began to revolve around the world? As my initial research, I am planning on focusing on the very first games and how did they affect the industry respectively.

Informed Practice 2

On this years’ Monday classes, we’ve going to meet with very talented artists to give us lectures. These lectures are specifically going to revolve around Q&A’s, animation examples, artworks and presentations.

Katerina Athanasopoulou

Katerina is a multimedia animator and filmmaker who uses both traditional analogue and new digital media to tell poetic yet highly researched stories. She creates works for screen and gallery space and outdoor installation.

During our class time, Katerina presented her presentation and her animations. She has an amazing sense of ideas and she creates her work based on a powerful background story. “Branches of Life” was the first animation of her which we’ve watched during class time and I got amazed by it. She collaborated with a singer called Andreya Triana who sang a song about the lungs. They were involved in a project where several people sang songs about different parts of the body.

She also mentioned that they gave Katerina access to the operating room while a patient were having their lungs operated.

As I was watching this animation, I felt as if I was inside of the operation room, and in some scenes, flying through the lungs. The animation style which Katerina adapted on is really powerful as each scene is a different artwork on itself.

Her Voice

As the second animation, we’ve watched “Her Voice” by Katerina. This animation was about a ghost, which was talking throughout the animation. It talked about topics like how typical grandmothers would read stories to their grandchildren, but the ghost inside of the animation tells that her grandmother would tell her about auditory perception and how the human body has over 50.000 receptors on the ears, but only sending signals of 3.500 to our brains.

a screenshot from the animation “Her Voice

As I was watching this animation, I was kind of scared by the spooky aesthetic but really enjoyed it overall as it was very creative. I really liked how Katerina animated the ghost.

Immigration Problem In Greece

While chatting with us during the lecture time, Katerina also mentioned about the immigration problem in Greece in 2012. She said that she was heavily affected by it so she decided to reflect it onto an artwork. She then created birdcages on her artwork and told us that these cages actually represents the buildings.

While listening to her, I was really amazed by how she can turn a territory problem into an artwork.

Dominica Harrison

Dominica is a Russian born artist uses 2D animation, Printmaking and a host of collaging techniques to bring to life stories from literature and actuality.

Illusions

The first work which we’ve looked from Dominica Harrison was named “Illusions”. It was a collaboration project with two Scottish voice actors and she did everything in terms of animation and directing. She made this animation with the screen-printing technique so she hand-drawn everything.

Tarot Collabration

Dominica collaborated with one of her colleagues and created these amazing tarot designs, inspired from the original tarot cards.

I really liked these designs as they are pretty detailed and intriguing.

FriendRed Peng

Friendred Peng is an installation and computational artist currently based in London focused on disciplines crossing arts, technology and sciences.

Touch Me

In 2017, FriendRed created a touch and gesture controllable clothing which the performer could control. The lights were being changed by the sensation and the movement of the performer.

the installation video was pretty interesting as it was all up to the performer. The lights, the gesture movements created an artwork overall.

Baptism Anewage Ritual

Originally, Baptism is a performance ritual in which aims to heal the person. In this installation, FriendRed created a Baptism ritual by creating sensored clothing which would detect the performers’ movements and change the colour within.

Principles of Game Arts – Project Topic

As our first project of Yr2, we’ve been assigned with a 3D environmental work. Our aim in this project is to design an environment that could fit into a game and has a background story in it. Before starting the project, we’ve been given some themes and environments list to choose from.

The theme which I’ve chosen:

  • Magical / Mystical

The environment which I’ve chosen:

  • Tree House

Background Concept / Story

After I have chosen my keywords, I have moved on to the next step which is creating a background concept for my project. Since I have chosen the theme “Magical/Mystical” and the “Tree House” environment, I have started to think about the question ” If I were to design a game myself, How would I arrange this theme into the game?” So I sat down and started to brainstorm some concept ideas.

I have then thought about an adventure game, where there are several stages and you have accomplish each one of them by defeating the obstacles. My magical treehouse would definitely be a point for players to come and restore their lives. Because since it’s a magical place, it would contain a lot of magical power enough to restore players’ lives.

Moodboard

After I have created the background concept of my design, I have moved on to the next step which is creating a Moodboard as a resemblance of my ideas.

Research / Inspiration

Alice In Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is a fiction book written by Lewis Caroll in 1865. The main protagonist is Alice and she teleports onto the wonderland after falling down from a rabbit hole. There are a lot of fictional characters like “The Mad Hatter, The Caterpillar, The Queen” and others. Despite the book, Alice in Wonderland also became a movie in 2010. The movie was directed by Tim Burton and the main actor was Johnny Depp. Personally, It is still one of my favourite movies. I remember nearly every scene from the movie because it was so mystical and the camera angles on each scene were fabulous.

Mushroom Forest

While I was looking at images for my Moodboard, I have directly thought about the mushroom forest in “Alice in Wonderland”. I then remembered the scene where Alice was walking inside of the mushroom forest. After a quick research on Youtube, I have found the videos of the mushroom forest and decided to create my initial landscape aesthetic similar to it. I wanted to create something that would immediately mesmerise people after looking at it.

Concept Inspirations from Artstation

Before starting to create my own concept, I have first wanted to check out for other artists’ works through Artstation for some inspiration. As a result, I have found out very talented artists with amazing artworks which got me really inspired on creating a treehouse with a magical aspect.

Silhouettes

As the beginning step of my journey, I have first created some silhouettes of the possible designs on which I could focus in a more detailed way. I have created about 6 treehouse silhouettes in total

Silhouettes of my design concepts

Concept Sketches

As my next step, I have designed the silhouettes I liked the most, about 4 in total. Personally, the best design which I have created is the 1st one, so I have decided to continue my path with that design.

Design Iterations

After I have chosen the design which I want to move on with, I have decided to create some design iterations for it.

As I was finished with my iterations, I have decided to move on with my base design as I thought the other iterations were kind of exaggerated. I wanted to have something more on the simple side, but also really nice looking in terms of the design and the coherence with the landscape. So, the base design was the perfect match for me.

Colour Variations

As the next step, I have tried on 5 different colour variations for my treehouse design. The one which I liked the most was the first one because it has a range of different colours varying from green tones to reddish tones. My landscape is going to have a magical/mystical forest vibe so apart from greenish tones, I believe that reddish tones will suit my design and will not be that exaggerated.

3D Concept

After I was done with the colour iterations, I have moved on to the next step which is creating the 3D concept of my treehouse model.

Landscape Concept Variations

As my next step, I have started to think about possible landscape designs for my magical treehouse. Since my concept theme is magical, I have decided to design a landscape that gives a magical feeling to the audience. I have designed about 6 in total.

After I was done with the designing process, I have decided to choose the third one to explore further in my journey. The reason of this is because I really liked the depth of the landscape concept, the trees around the house makes my design pop up more.

Value Drawings

As our homework, we’ve been asked to create some value drawings which will benefit us regarding our project.

Summer Project: Creature Design

As our summer project, our tutors have wanted us to create creature designs out of scratch. In addition, there were also some questions for us to answer about Game Design in general and why we have chosen it etc. Also, we have researched about potential inspirations for future works and have added them onto our pdf’s.

Creature Concept

As my creature concept, I have first decided to work on a ghost type creature. I have created sketches and decided that this ghost creature eats the stars to stay alive. I have also tried to create the design spooky but in a cute way. I have drawn my creature from the front, from the back and added some different face expressions.

Concept of my ghost type creature

A while later, I have decided that this creature design was not good enough for me. So, I have re-fueled myself and opened a new page. This time, I wasn’t going to create a ghost type creature but a plant-based creature which also lives in outer space.

Silhouette Making

I have first started my process by creating 9 different silhouettes. While creating them, I have tried to use different shapes.

Silhouettes of my creature

Design Experimentations

After I was done with my silhouettes, I have moved on to the next step which is the designing part. I have designed the silhouettes which I most liked.

After I have designed up to 4 different silhouettes, I have decided to further experiment with the 2nd design. I liked this design the most because it really looks like a plant-based creature which also has an alien aesthetic.

Character Refinements

Moving on, I have refined my original design and created different variations.

Character Refinements

Colour Experimentations

After I was done with the refining process, I have decided to continue with my initial design. Afterwards, I have tried out different colour palettes onto my creature.

Colour experimentation of my creature

After I have tested out different colours on my creature, I have decided that I liked the first palette the most since it reminds me of nature. So, I have decided to move further with this colour palette.

Final Design

After I have completed the colouring process, I have moved on to render my creature design.

Final Design of my creature

Splash Art

As an addition, I have decided to create a small splash art for my creature. This was not required by our tutors but I wanted to explore more of my creature. I really liked how it turned out.

Animation Arts: Lip Sync

As our last term project, I’ve been assigned into the “Lip Sync” elective. Our aim in this project is to create a 1-2 minute lip sync animation with animating a recorded dialogue. During this project, I have teammed up with my parter Brandon.

Dialogue

The dialogue which we are going to animate involves 2 people talking about the conflict between Ireland and England.

Conflict between Ireland and England

In the early nineteenth century the British government fully endorsed laissez-faire economics and the policy of non-intervention. By the end of the century, however, the growth in social policy legislation reflected an increased willingness to curb at least the worst excesses of a market economy. Peter Gray’s (Southampton and conference host) and Virginia Crossman’s (Warwick) papers well illustrate this shift. Gray detailed the changing interpretation of the Famine amongst British and Irish economists. In the 1850s, the Famine was celebrated as an opportunity for Irish regeneration. By the 1860s there had been a decline in providentialist thought and the Famine came to be seen in increasingly negative terms. Clearly, laissez-faire policies had not worked. Crossman showed that in the late nineteenth century, the government was much more willing to intervene in large-scale economic crises and provide a wide range of emergency relief.

Initial Idea

As our initial idea, we have decided to create a ritual ceremony between the ghost and the girl. We agreed to animate one of the speakers as a ghost and the other a normal girl. We will animate them as they are having a session in between.

Mind Map

As our mind map process, we have decided to write down every possible word which was related to the dialogue recording.

Moodboard

As our moodboard process, we have searched the possible inspirations for our animatic. These includes clothing from the Victorian Era and Cartoon show style inspirations which we are going to get help from while creating our animation.

Thumbnail Sketches

As the thumbnail sketches, both Brandon and me sketched our own version of it. Brandon’s style replicates more of a cartoonish style while mine is a bit more detailed. We then have agreed to move on with the cartoon style while creating our animatic.

Victorian Era History

It was the time of the world’s first Industrial Revolution, political reform and social change, Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin, a railway boom and the first telephone and telegraph. But the Victorian Era—the 63-year period from 1837-1901 that marked the reign of England’s Queen Victoria—also saw a demise of rural life as cities rapidly grew and expanded, long and regimented factory hours, the start of the Crimean War and Jack the Ripper.

Victoria, who ascended the throne at age 18 following the death of her uncle, William IV, is Britain’s second-longest reigning monarch (surpassed by Queen Elizabeth II). At just 4-feet-11-inches tall, her rule during one of Britain’s greatest eras saw the country serving as the world’s biggest empire, with one-fourth of the global population owing allegiance to the queen.

Victorian Era Clothing

Despite the prim and proper feminine ideal of the time, fashions of the Victorian period created an often exaggerated, ostentatious look. Tight corsets, gigantic hoop-skirts, and outrageous bustles make today’s fashion trends look sedate by comparison.

Clothing styles were dictated by propriety, and stylish garments were a sign of respectability. The copious amounts of fabric used in the creation of Victorian skirts usually meant that most women owned few outfits. Detachable collars and cuffs enabled a woman to change the look of a garment for a bit of variety. Of course, wealthier women owned more garments that were made of finer fabrics and used more material and embellishments.

Caroline Character Designs

After researching about the Victorian Era and their clothing styles, I have moved on to create the girl character in our animation. Since everything about the character will belong to the Victorian Era, I have decided to name her according to that time. After researching about the Victorian Era names, I have decided to name her Caroline, which is a popular name from that time.

I have created 4 different designs in total, each one being a dress. In that era, people used to wear dresses all the time so her clothing is also a dress. I have given each design a different twist and a different colour scheme. I am proud of the character designs as I believe I did a good job representing the Victorian Era clothing style.

My character design of “Caroline”

After I have shared my designs with Brandon, we both decided that we should continue designing and exploring the first one.

Silhouettes

After we decided, we have moved on to the next step which is the silhouette making. We were discussing about the personal traits of Caroline and we have written down 5 different traits which belongs to her. These traits are;

  • Introvert
  • Friendly
  • Considerate
  • Free Spirit
  • Talkative

After, we have started to create our silhouettes by imagining how would Caroline pose to these words.

My take on silhouettes
Brandon’s take on silhouettes

Afterwards, we have decided to explore the “Introvert” position and create iterations of it. Both me and Brandon explored different costumes and props to Caroline with the Introvert pose.

Colour Experimentations

As our next step, we have explored different colours on Caroline. We have continued to colour on the model of Brandon’s.

Final Design of Caroline

After we finished the colour experimentations we have both come up to an idea. Both Brandon and me wanted a more popping colour rather than brown. So, we decided to go with the dark green one, which belongs to my iteration.

Final design

Turnarounds

After finishing the final design of Caroline, I have moved on to the next step which is creating turnarounds for her. This stage is really crucial in terms of the production as it is really important to see each side when animating.

Turnarounds of Caroline

Ghost Girl Designs

As our second character design, we have moved on to create designs of the Ghost girl. Brandon has taken action in this character as he designed it. After he has created 4 different designs, we both shared our ideas together to choose one of them. I really liked the third one and Brandon has agreed to continue with that design.

Silhouettes

Concept sketch

Colour Experimentation

As the colour experimentation process, Brandon and I have agreed to use only one colour for the ghost girl character. The main reason behind this is because ghost characters in general have the same colours revolving around blue, pale turquoise and white. So, we decided to go with the blue colour.

Final Design

As we both agreed on the third design, we decided for that to be our final design.

Face Expressions

As the next step, I have created the face expressions of the characters which me and Brandon designed.

Contextual and Theoretical Studies – Adventures In the Upside Down

As our upcoming project, we are going to work on the topic of “horror” under the project name CTS. Our study materials will namely revolve around deep research, watching short and normal movies about the topic and getting inspiration from other artists.

Short Movies

In our first lecture session, we have looked through different type of short movies ranging from 1960’s to our present day. The movies which we have watched had an exact meaning of “heaven and hell”, with a mixture of horror traits inside. The broadest example of this was in the movie called “Necrology” by Standish Lauders. For about 11 minutes straight, we are seeing a bunch of different people who are going upside as the camera goes down. This is basically a reference of the people who are going to heaven.

The movies which we have watched are;

The Shining

Directed by Stanley Kubrick, “The Shining(1980)”, is a 2 hour and 30 minutes long horror, thriller movie based on the writing of Stephen King. The movie itself is about a family which heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where a sinister presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from both past and future.

As a movie of late 19’s, I really founded it be super thrill-seeking and powerful. With the camera angles and the legendary directing of Stanley Kubrick, the movie got into a whole new level. Besides the horror movies in our daily lives, it has a different taste to it. Nowadays, horror movies are quite “cheap” in terms of the repetitive jump-scares and the generic soundtracks. I have never heard such interesting thrill build-up soundtracks as I have heard in this movie. Such a masterpiece!

Room 237

A subjective documentary by Rodney Ascher that explores the numerous theories about the hidden meanings within Stanley Kubrick’s film The Shining (1980). The film may be over 30 years old but it continues to inspire debate, speculation, and mystery. Five very different points of view are illuminated through voice over, film clips, animation and dramatic reenactments. Together they’ll draw the audience into a new maze, one with endless detours and dead ends, many ways in, but no way out.

Research: IMDB, Room 237(2012), Available at: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2085910/, (Accessed: 4 March 2021)

The movie itself was really strange as it has exposed so many new stuff apart from the original. It’s a short documentary with people exposing the hidden meanings behind some scenes. I found it really unique and mysterious just like the original movie.

Scare Them In 6

As our next task, we are aimed to create a 6 panelled storyboard which contains a short horror story. As for my story, I have decided to create a woman encountering with poltergeist. The poltergeist appears on woman’s TV after she changes the channel. I had a lot of fun while creating the storyboard.

Game Arts Elective (Artifact)

As my first Elective Project, I have been chosen into the “Game Arts” group. Our aim in this project is to create an artifact concept out of the three following games and then transfer our design onto Maya and create a 3D artifact design.

I am really excited for this project as I will have the option to improve my designing and 3D modelling skills.

The games that are available for us to choose are;

  • Zelda
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Ori and The Blind Forest

After searching each game, I have decided to go with the “Ori and The Blind Forest” one. The main reason behind this is because I really liked the gameplay of it and the whole environment of the game looked pretty neat for me to create an artifact. Also, I really loved the character designs of the game as well.

Ori and The Blind Forest

The forest of Nibel is dying. After a powerful storm sets a series of devastating events in motion, an unlikely hero must journey to find his courage and confront a dark nemesis to save his home. “Ori and the Blind Forest” tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics, through a visually stunning action-platformer crafted by Moon Studios for PC. Featuring hand-painted artwork, meticulously animated character performance, and a fully orchestrated score, “Ori and the Blind Forest” explores a deeply emotional story about love and sacrifice, and the hope that exists in us all.

Concept Art of The Game

Since the game is an adventure/action type game, it has some amazing concept and character designs behind it. The colour schemes used in the making and the overall art style is what made me to choose this game to create an artifact to.

As my next step, I wanted to create a Moodboard in order to choose the right colour scheme and atmospehere for my artifact design.

Artefact Concept

After I was %100 sure about the game which I’ll be making an artefact for, I have moved on to the process of research. First, because I didn’t know the game very well I have watched some gameplay videos. The gameplay itself was really fascinating and it intrigued me so much. As I was watching the gameplay, I have started to think about a possible artefact design that I could make.

After I have watched it more carefully, I have seen that there isn’t a designed artefact for the “saving point”. It was more like a sparkly flare which I thought was incomplete. So, I decided to create an artefact of “saving point” for the game “Ori and the Blind Forest”.

Design

I have decided to create my resurrection point similar to a crystal-rock shape. Around it, I have imagined of adding several crystals because I thought that it would fit the game’s aura. As for my final touch I have decided to add a star point on top of the crystal-rock because the game environment is basically dark at such times and a resurrection point needs to show itself out.

While rendering my artefact in Maya, In am imagining to centre the light spot in the star point to basically turn it into a resurrection point.

Sketch

Before starting my sketch, I have researched about experienced prop artists around the internet, mainly in Artstation. The artists which mainly inspired me in the process were “Johannes Figlhuber, German Reina Carbona and Jasmin Habezai-Fekri.

I have sketched several possible designs for my artefact. I have also sketched the possible surrounding concepts in my crystal-rock artefact.

The sketch of my artefact design

2D Design Sheet

After I have completed my sketches, I have decided on the 4th one to design further on. My design is basically a crystal rock, with additional crystals around the design and an upper crystal to indicate the saving point. Since the game itself has a lot of blue-purple colours around the environment, I have decided to colour my design according to those colours to make it fit to the environment.

My 2D Design Sheet

3D Modelling Sheet

After I have completed my initial design, I have moved on to create turnarounds. This method will benefit me while creating my 3D artefact design because it will help me to see every different angle.

Games Art – Seven Deadly Sins

History of Seven Deadly Sins

The seven deadly sins were first compiled by Pope Gregory I around the year 600. They are pride, greed, lust, wrath, gluttony, envy, and sloth. Gregory also compiled a list of the seven virtues: faith, hope, charity, justice, prudence, temperance, and fortitude. The Bible would validate all of these concepts, but nowhere are they recorded in a list like this and nowhere in the Bible are they specifically referred to as the seven deadly sins or seven virtues. They do not pre-date the Ten Commandments which were given at Mt. Sinai around 1450 B.C.

It is probably true that they were used extensively to teach principles from God’s Word, particularly in the centuries before the invention of the printing press when the Bible was not available for the common man to read and study.

Seven Deadly Sins / https://www.cio.com/article/3236248/the-7-deadly-sins-of-enterprise-data-management.html

Envy: Desire to have equality, posession, or other attribute belonging to someone else

Greed: A selfish desire for more of something than is needed

Sloth: Spiritual apathy and inactivity

Greed

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness. Greed is also linked with the frog and the color yellow.

As for my Seven Deadly Sins, I have decided to go with the “Greed” one. Among the all, I have found Greed closer to myself as I feel like that way sometimes. When I’m usually angry, I get an urge of greed and want to vomit my anger everywhere even if I don’t need to. This also happens with other emotions as well like excitement or sadness. So, I want to reflect my inner anger and greed feeling into a character.

Inspiration

My main inspiration behind in the choosing of “Greed” is from the characters of the game called “League of Legends”. There are several characters in the game like Mordekaiser, Vladimir, Syndra, Zed etc. who are all greedy in terms of desire. I will take these characters as my main reference and create my own greedy character.

Moodboard

After I have researched about Greed, I have moved on to the next step which is creating a Moodboard about it. I have created my Moodboard in Padlet. In total, I have found about 12 images in total. The stuff which I have researched more deeply about Greed was around human spirit, evilness, death, selfishness etc.

Silhouettes

As our first design task, I have created my silhouettes for my upcoming character. I have done around 8 silhouettes in total. Since my character is going to be a female, I haven’t sketched any male characters. I have also tried to reflect “dominancy” through my silhouettes as I am aiming for my character to be really dominant and greedy when it comes to hunting people.

While creating, I have thought about my emotions when I get angry as I try to reflect my inner side into this character.

Rough Sketches

After completing my character sihouettes, I have moved on to the next step which is creating rough sketches of my possible character designs. I have created around 6 sketches in total, with making the designs similar to each other.

My rough sketches

After I have completed my rough sketches, I have chosen the design which I wanted to continue with. The design which I have chosen is the sixth one. Out of all, I have found that particular design to be the most greedy and evil looking.

As my next step, I have created 4 different refinements onto the character design which I have decided on. Since it’s an evil and a greedy character, I have added horns and ears to reflect the “evil” feeling.

Refinements

My Refinements

After finishing the refinements, I have decided to go with the first design out of all. I really liked the third design which has horns, but also thought that the design looks too much compared to the first one.

Lineart

Moving on, I have created the lineart of my character. I really liked her final design as my lineart helped it to look even better.

Colour Experimentations

After I have finished the lineart, I have moved on to the next step which is experimenting with colours. My character is representing the sin “Greed”, so I have decided to go with two main colours of evilness which are “black” and “red”, and a small mixture of pink and purple. Then, I have searched for other colours which could also suit my character.

As a result, I have first tried with the colour tonnes of purple. Then, with blue and green. After I have experimented with other colours, I couldn’t suited them right to my character. So, I have decided to go with the colours which I have chosen in the beginning.

Final Render / Design

As my last step, I have moved on to complete my design and the rendering process. Since I have a semi-realistic art style in general, I wanted to use this style in this character as well. As my final render, I have deleted the lineart and coloured it in a more “3D” type way to make it look more realistic type, but in a illustrative way.

I am really happy with the final result as I believe that I have nailed the colours very well and the design suitable with the sin I have chosen.
